Brian Baker is the founder of Cultivar Marketing, a specialized agency serving the beverage alcohol industry with comprehensive sales and marketing services across direct-to-consumer strategies, distributor management, and import go-to-market solutions. He brings expertise in beverage alcohol licensing and compliance.
With deep roots in traditional brand marketing, Brian excels in DTC sales, CRM technologies, and market research and sales.
His distinguished career includes roles as Chief Marketing Officer at Copalli Spirits, General Manager of Mayacamas Vineyards, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Chateau Montelena Winery. In 2004, he pioneered as one of the first DTC executives in multi-brand wine operations at Jackson Family Wines.
A respected industry figure, Brian served as a judge for 25 years at the SF International Wine Competition and 5 years with the SF World Spirits Competition.
Brian is a sommelier, Certified Specialist of Wine, and University of Southern California graduate.
